At Caton Constructions, we’re looking for apprentices who want to build a long-term career in residential construction — not just get through the week.

ABOUT CATON CONSTRUCTIONS

Caton Constructions builds high-quality custom homes and duplexes across the Sutherland Shire and greater Sydney.

We’re a small, tight-knit team focused on quality craftsmanship, strong communication and doing things properly from start to finish.

You’ll work directly alongside experienced carpenters, leading hands and the director, gaining real hands-on experience across every stage of the build.

No large commercial sites.
No getting treated like a number.
Just solid work, clear systems and the opportunity to learn properly.

THE ROLE

As an Apprentice, you’ll work closely with our site team across all stages of residential construction.

You’ll assist with:

  • Framing and structural carpentry

  • Cladding and external works

  • Fix out and finishing carpentry

  • Site organisation and preparation

  • Material handling and deliveries

  • Maintaining clean and safe worksites

You’ll gain exposure to how high-quality homes are delivered from the ground up while developing your skills alongside experienced tradespeople.

You don’t need years of experience — but attitude matters.

We’re looking for someone who:

If you genuinely care about building quality work and want to develop your skills in a professional environment, you’ll fit in well here.

Previous experience on tools or site is a bonus, but not essential.
