I’m Lachlan, the proud owner of Caton Constructions, a boutique and trustworthy building company specialising in high-end residential projects, custom homes and dual occupancies.
My journey into the world of building began long before I ever picked up a hammer. My parents renovated many of our family homes, and I spent countless hours immersed in the world of construction as a child, whether it was crafting creations with Lego or “helping” my parents renovate with my dad’s tools. This passion led me to undertake work experience with a local builder in Year 10, which confirmed that the construction industry was the path for me.
In my construction career spanning over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of managing luxury residential projects valued between $2m and $25m, earning recognition through 10 state and national awards along the way. My motivation has always been to do what I love, and that’s why I established Caton Constructions — to deliver true luxury and quality to the residential market.
I believe that relationships are at the heart of what we do. I’m not just here to build houses; I’m here to build trust and create lasting connections with my clients and the broader community.
