Caton Constructions builds high-quality custom homes and duplexes across the Sutherland Shire and greater Sydney.

We’re a small, tight-knit team with a strong focus on craftsmanship, communication and delivering projects the right way from start to finish.

No layers of management.

You’ll work directly with experienced site leaders and the director within a structured and organised environment where expectations are clear and quality matters.

THE ROLE

As a Qualified Carpenter, you’ll work across all stages of residential construction — from framing through to finishes.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Deliver clean, high-quality carpentry work

  • Read and work from plans confidently

  • Maintain a well-organised and safe work area

  • Work collaboratively with trades and suppliers on site

  • Problem solve and keep work progressing efficiently

  • Take ownership of your section of the build

This role suits someone who takes pride in the details and understands how quality workmanship impacts the overall project outcome.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is trade qualified and experienced in residential construction

  • Has strong carpentry skills across multiple stages of the build

  • Can read plans and build accurately to specification

  • Takes responsibility for their work and communicates well

  • Shows initiative and works efficiently without being chased

  • Maintains high standards under pressure

  • Respects the team, trades, clients and the process behind a quality build

Experience across custom homes and duplex projects will be highly regarded.
